ARD103: Arduino Microcontroller3 (Term3)
In this course students of age group from 8 to 11 years, Will learn about using multiple potentiometer to control each color of RGB LED as well as the LED bar. Students will also learn how to program the Arduino and use the potentiometer to control the position of a servo motor. They will also use potentiometer in conjunction to a buzzer to vary the frequency of the generated sound and make an siren with adjustable tone frequency. On the 2nd half of the course student will learn about DC Motors and speed and direction control and learn how to control 2 separate DC motor to be used as 2 wheels of a mobile platform for the robot cars. The concepts such as H-bridge motor driver and L293D motor driver ICs will be tough. Graphical language like Blocky and scratch is used during this course.
